5BMF’s 2014-2015 Season continues this March with GUNS N’ ROSENKAVALIER, a “rock-recital” that melds art song with rock song, confounding expectations and celebrating that which is universal across song lines. With musical mashups spanning the works of Kate Bush and Brahms, Sufjan Stevens and Schubert, and more, this genre-blending program stars baritone and 5BMF alum Andrew Wilkowske on vocals and electric guitar, with pianist David Moody and the all-female pop-French horn quartet Genghis Barbie!
“Guns N’ Rosenkavalier” features arrangements by John Glover and Andrew Wilkowske and English lyrics by Kelley Rourke. Watch a sneak preview here:

After performing to sold-out audiences at Milwaukee Opera Theater, Glimmerglass Opera, and the Mill City Summer Opera Festival in Minneapolis, “Guns N’ Rosenkavalier” will make its New York City debut on March 15th with 5BMF.
Tickets start at $20 and are available now via Rockwood Music Hall.
