Internationally renowned guitarists João Luiz and Douglas Lora join the 5BMF roster this season in two exciting performances! A 2006 winner of the prestigious Concert Artists Guild International Competition, Brasil Guitar Duo‘s innovative programming features a seamless blend of traditional and Brazilian works.

The program includes works by Rameau, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Villa-Lobos, Gismonti, Lobo, and Pereira, as well as original compositions and arrangements by Douglas Lora and João Luiz.

Venue Details
The historic Staten Island Museum traces its beginnings to 1881, when it was founded by a group of young naturalists. The museum offers exhibits exploring the connections between natural science, art and history.
